Learn about Hunter, Hunter is a past eventing, dressage, jumping, cross country super star. He has been there and done it all. He retires with us and will help everyone feel more comfortable around horses with his gentle sweet personality. From the very young to the adult, he has the patience, the balance, and the training to help you overcome your fear of horses! We are so blessed to have him at our barn! I can't wait for you to meet him! And there is the amazing mega pony our beautiful Paint horse Miss Gracie! She is all ready to take you on a pony ride or let you groom her beautiful coat in our farm visit and feed her treats! Come and meet our big pony, and you won't be disappointed!!!!

Get to know all about Middleton Stables in Middleburg - what we do, our mission, and our history. Middleton Stables is a year-round Horse Farm that offers horseback riding, family farm visits, and lessons in a quiet setting for beginners to learn and relax in safety while having a great time. Whether you are new to riding, want to remember your childhood, just love horses, or want an experience with your family or friends. Come and enjoy our horses, dwarf goats, lop bunnies, and baby donkey in a private setting. When you are here you have the place practically to yourself. We offer the chance to bond with animals and nature in a peaceful setting. At Middleton Stables we feel incredibly lucky, we get to do what we love. We’d love for you to take part in the Middleton Stables experience.

LITTLES LEAD LINE
Littles lead line is 45 min session focusing on getting the little ones familiar with being at a barn, being with animals, riding, taking a short pony ride, learning about horses and how to care for them. We have bunnies, goats, a donkey, and chickens just to add to their experience. It is a great way to bring your little ones and have them experience horses and everything about them. Come for an intro and then customize which plan is best for you. Sessions are held weekly or bi-weekly. Designed for kids ages 4-8 or that child that is a little more skeptical.
Camps, Stable hand program, Birthday parties, and more
Looking for a fun and unique way to celebrate your next birthday or family event. Come to our stables and enjoy a 60-90 min horseback riding experience and other exciting activities! You can even lease a horse and experience the joy of horse ownership. Check out our services page to learn about all the cool programs offer. We can't to see you at the stables!
Family or Grandparent Day
Looking for a fun and unique experience with animals? Come visit us and enjoy a 60 to 90-minute session where you can clean a stall, pick a hoof, pet a donkey, hold a goat, brush horses, get a mini basic lesson in the arena, or go on a short trail ride. This is not just a ride experience, it's an opportunity to interact with our animals and learn about their care. Bring picnic lunch and enjoy it in our picnic area while watching the kids or grandkids ride. Contact us to customize your visit!
Our amazing Barn Animals!!
Welcome to Middleton Stables! We are excited to share that we have six hand-held hens our at farm, including a Lavender Orpington, Light Brahma, Black Australorp, White Leghorn, Wyandotte Silver Laced, and Grey n White Americana. Come visit us and meet these sweet hens who are laying brown, white, pink, and beautiful blue eggs.
We also have two Nigerian Dwarf sisters. And Fionna just had her babies July 24 2024.
